Meet the Team

Brandon Wong

Brandon is our Director of Acquisitions and Investor Relations. He served in the Marine Corps Infantry from 2003 to 2011 and has been investing in real estate since 2010. His biggest strengths are in marketing automation and systems. Brandon has successfully increased occupancy at multiple properties through his ability to generate qualified leads through targeted marketing. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge and he brings a degree of technical sophistication with him wherever he goes.

Mike Herman

Mike is our Senior Underwriter with extensive experience reviewing multifamily properties. He began investing in 1-4 unit properties in Texas and Alabama in 2019, where he successfully increased NOI to triple his investment at disposition. Mike has a passion for numbers and financial analysis, looking for opportunities to add value that are both realistic and impactful for the community. He believes that you can both generate a profit through real estate and have a positive impact on the residents which we serve.

Andy Eddy

Andy is our Senior Asset Manager with decades of experience in operations, lease administration, construction management, and facility management of retail and commercial properties. He is accountable for 9-figure annual capital and operating expense budgets, and he has completed over 1,000 real estate transactions totaling over $1B in consideration. Andy's biggest strength is in having a vision for unrealized value and then designing the project and implementing the business plan through its completion.

Brandon Wong

Brandon Wong is the founder of Smart Syndicator, a consulting and marketing automation firm dedicated to helping apartment syndicators stress less, grow their investor databases, automate/streamline their sales pipelines, and raise more money.

He is also is the co-founder of Guardian Multifamily, an investment firm that offers private multifamily value add investments to investors. He and his team purchase in high growth markets to both maximize ROI and minimize risk while uplifting communities. Currently $40M Under management in the multifamily space.

He served in the Marine Corps Infantry from 2003-2011 and live with his wife and kids over in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

His passions outside of family and real estate are helping veterans start and grow their businesses.

Mike Herman

Mike has been the Senior Underwriter at Guardian Multifamily since 2021, with extensive experience in multifamily financial modeling. He has completed over 100 hours of institutional level real estate financial modeling training through the A.CRE Accelerator Course. Mike began investing in 1-4 unit properties in Texas and Alabama in 2019, where he successfully increased NOI to triple his investment at disposition.

Mike is currently a co-GP in 283 apartment units across 2 properties where he is active in both asset management and investor relations. He also has a diversified personal portfolio of passive investments, including investing in over 1,600 apartment units, 2 oil and gas funds, and an ATM fund.

When not spending his days analyzing investment opportunities, Mike works the night shift as a flight nurse on a helicopter in Northern California, where he is blessed to care for critically ill and injured people.
